HOUSE REPUBLICANS COALESCE AROUND TAX BILL — PASSAGE DEPENDS ON UNDECIDEDS
Thursday, Washington DC – House Republicans on the Hill start their long process of attempting to get their tax bill through. A majority of House Republicans do support the current provisions, but the fringe undecided minority of GOP members in California are holding progress back.
The House GOP tax plan is different than the Senate tax plan in many different places. The House plan eliminates more tax brackets and cuts the corporate tax rate effective immediately instead of in the beginning of 2019.
